Chris-Lynn-Psl
Chris Lynn is arguably one of the world’s most feared T20 batsmen. He would literally walk into any Twenty Twenty starting XI, regardless of the place. The Australian powerhouse most recently showcased his powerhitting in the recently postponed 5th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Lynn took his time to gain his form in the competition, but when it mattered, the opener didn’t disappoint the Lahori fanbase. The Queenslander showcased some scintillating batting to make sure his Qalandars team finished in the top 4 and secured a place in the knockout phases for the very first time in the competition’s history.
In the 8 games he played for Lahore, Lynn stacked up 284 runs at an average of 40.57. His strike rate was a staggering 179.74, which shows why he is one of the best T20 players in the world. The highlight of his tournament was a magnificent century in Qalandars’ final group game against table-toppers Multan. Lynn smashed a 55-ball 113 to make sure Lahore sealed a place in the last 4 by beating the best side in the competition.
However, the coronavirus pandemic spit venom on Lynn and the PSL much like it has done throughout the world with almost every sporting event. The remainder of the PSL 5 was canceled on Tuesday shortly before the two semi-finals were played. Before leaving Pakistan, Lynn shared a heartfelt message with his Qalandars fans.
“Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the @thepsl unfortunately in these circumstances I’ve chosen to head home, I’ve always said there is more to life than cricket and this is certainly one of these cases. I have full faith in the @lahoreqalandars to go all the way but more importantly have fun lads! Thank you to everyone involved, Pakistan you have been a blast,”
