PSL-5
Having failed to properly see-off the highly successful 5th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to hold the semi-finals and final in November.
PCB CEO Wasim Khan spoke about the matter on Monday and said that the board is currently looking at a possbible 9-day window in November, provided that the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic improves by then.

The PCB had to postpone the tournament last week just before a blockbuster double-header featuring all 4 semi finalists.
Wasim Khan added that there were also suggestions that Multan Sultans who topped the points table should be declared champions.
“We are currently looking at a 9-day window in November. But we have to first sit down and discuss the situation with all the franchise owners because there are also suggestions that Multan Sultans which topped the points table should be declared winners or to have these remaining matches before the PSL-6 early next year,” he said
Khan also insisted that the board is good financial health, despite suffering huge losses due to the cancellation of PSL 5.
“The Coronavirus pandemic has affected the entire world and sports globally. In this crisis time at present we have money and are not facing any financial crisis,” Khan said
Concluding the talk, Wasim Khan also confirmed that the PCB is currently on the hunt for new broadcasters for next season’s games.
