PUBG-MOBILE
We have been discussing the 0.17.0 update for PUBG Mobile for quite a while. Now, it is finally here. However, it could easily be one of the worst updates that we have seen for the game.
This update was supposed to focus on Royale Pass Season 12 with the theme “2gether We Play”. Still, Season 12 of PUBG Mobile will begin on the 9th of March. The much-anticipated update for the map Erangel, the Amusement Park Mode, won’t be available before the 12th of March.
There were rumors regarding an Arctic mode, which was supposed to be a part of PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 12. However, the developers haven’t provided any news regarding its release date.
The patch might seem unorganized, and a lot of anticipated changes are missing at the moment, but it has added some new things to the game.
First of all, we got to see the new air-drop weapon, the DBS Shotgun. We also saw the hardcore mode making a return with this update. The death replay released on March 3 as part of a 0.17.0 update helps players to see if the opponent who killed them was using any cheats or hacks has been added to the game. Another new feature added to the game is the color-blind mode.
The changelog on the PlayStore mentions that
“2nd Anniversary is here with an Amusement Park at Erangel!
1) Join a match on Erangel for a chance to experience the Amusement Park.
2) Games and attractions include Shooting Range, Gashapon Machines, and a Trampoline!
3) Try out the Reverse Bungee – launch into the air to new heights!
Hardcore Mode
1) No sound prompts and manual actions are required to pick-up and open/close doors, all to give you a more realistic experience.”
As mentioned earlier, a lot of significant changes in the game along with brand new rewards would only be made available once the PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 12 starts on the 9th of March.
Until then, you could try to familiarize yourself with the latest changes that have been made to the game.
