SHOAIB-AKHTAR-CORONA-VIRUS-FIGHT
Shoaib Akhtar has kept in touch with his fans and followers quite well even several years after his retirement from cricket. Rawalpindi Express is often vocally expressive on his official Youtube channel and the coronavirus pandemic is no exception.

The deadly virus has brought the entire world to a standstill. There is widespread panic at every corner of the planet, with events and tournaments being cancelled. All cricket series and tournaments have been called off and Shoaib Akhtar has voiced his opinion regarding the tense situation.

In his latest YouTube vlog, Shoaib has urged people from all over the world to unite and work as one if they are to fight the menace that is the coronavirus. He also alarmed the people to not start panic-buying large amounts of grocery and other items as it would adversely affect the daily wage workers. The former speedster also spoke about how people should not bring religion or race into the context during this testing period.

Request all my fans all across the globe. Coronavirus is a global crisis and we have to think as a global force, rise above religion. Lockdown is happening so that the virus does not spread. If you are doing interaction and meeting in places, it will not help. If you are hoarding things, please think about the daily wage workers. Stores are empty. What is the guarantee that you will live after three months? Think about the daily wage worker, how will he feed his family? Think about people, time to be a human, not Hindu, Muslim. People will have to help each other, collect funds. Stop hoarding.” Akhtar said

How will the poor survive?’

Akhtar urged the fans to keep the poor and the needy in mind. The veteran pacer also urged everyone to rise above the Hindu-Muslim debate and to think for solutions.
“Rich will still survive; how will the poor survive? Have faith. We are living like animals, live like humans. Try to be helpful, please stop storing stuff. It is time we look after each other. No time to be divided, we have to live as humans,” he added
