Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) income is certainly making the right moves keeping in mind that its yearly year revenue increased by a massive 108.45% in 2019 compared to 2018.

PCB earned close to Rs 10.696 billion in 2019 compared to the Rs 5.131 billion in 2018, a source revealed on Thursday.

Tournaments, tours and series

PCB’s income through tournaments, tours and series increased by a whopping 124% in 2019. The cricketing body made Rs 9.69 billion in 2019 in this department, compared to the Rs 4.325 billion they made in 2018.
The board earned Rs. 4.27 billion and Rs 5.41 billion via away and home tours in 2019 respectively as compared to that of Rs 964.5 million and Rs 3.360 billion in 2018, respectively.

Sponsorships and Logos

The revenue through sponsorship and logos saw a 16% increase in 2019. The figures were believed to be around Rs 238.02 million in 2019 compared to Rs 204.99 million in 2018.

Return on Investment and Bank Deposits

A 53% increase in the revenue through return on investments and bank deposits was seen as the board generated Rs 707.9 million in 2019 compared to Rs 459.8 million in 2018.

Rentals

A fall of 80% was experienced in PCB’s rental income during 2019 as compared to 2018. The figures went down from Rs. 25.37 million to Rs. 4.874 million between the two years.

Other Sources

The PCB made a around Rs. 54.3 million through other income sources as compared to Rs 115.5 million through the same sources in 2018, showing a fall of 52%.
